Statutory Instruments Act, 2013

Amends the Statutory Instruments Act to provide timelines within which statutory instruments shall be made; makes failure to make an instrument an offence; and permits any person to petition Parliament and submit a draft statutory instrument for consideration.

Amends the Statutory Instruments Act, 2013 to streamline its provisions with the Constitution; provides for submission and notification of instruments that cease to have effect, House approval of exemptions, annulment, removal of mandatory review and expiration, increased fines and terms of imprisonment, and savings for regulations in operation on or before 24th January, 2024.
