Summary

The Bill establishes the Kenya Audio-Visual and Cinema Commission, the Kenya Audio-Visual Regulatory Authority and the Kenya School of Film and Creative Arts; demarcates promotion and development roles from regulatory functions; provides for a register of creatives, incentives, capital-markets products and creative industries in educational establishments; repeals the Films and Stage Plays Act and revokes the State Corporations (Kenya Film Commission) Order.
