The Quality Healthcare and Patient Safety Bill, 2025

Summary

Give effect to Article 43 (1) (a) of the Constitution; provide for the responsibility of the national and county governments in the realisation of quality healthcare for patients; establish the Quality Health Care and Patient Safety Authority; provide for registration, licensing and accreditation of health facilities; set standards for quality healthcare; and make consequential amendments to other Acts.
